We made a lot of changes in the formal living room to create an elegant yet inviting room. Custom walnut cabinetry adds drama and storage while drawing attention to the original fireplace, a focal point of the room. A modern chandelier feels playful against the vintage ceiling medallion. We lightened the room with pure white walls and crown molding then added a neutral floor covering and enveloping velvet sofas. The curvature and softness of the furnishings create a warm, yet fittingly formal area for conversation.

Our goal in the informal living room was to create a cozy space where the owners could kick back with their kids and put their feet up. We started by removing the towering set of dated and dark shelving units, then brightened up the walls and added neutral furnishings and plush floor coverings. Duplicating the formal living room chandelier here, creates cohesiveness between adjoined rooms, while the optical effect of the infinity mirror adds to the relaxed, zen-like qualities of this less formal space.

This is everyone’s favorite room transformation. It’s now so full of life! We imagined the kidsroom to be cohesive with the architecture but a bit of whimsy with the wallpaper and the deep blue walls that feels comforting and creates contrast all at once. By incorporating space saving bunkbeds an expanse is created for littles to romp and explore. Or they can snuggle up together for bedtime stories in their treehouse cabana!

We opted to keep this space cozy, but easy on the eyes. We added a warm color to the walls and sheer curtains to provide just enough privacy, while maximizing the natural light. A versatile bench was added for functionality and texture. With the addition of a generously sized bed, oversized headboard and accessory lighting, this room has become a great space for evening reading and lounging.

Even bathrooms need a soul! By adding some minimal, but much needed accessories and pops of color with bold wallpaper, the owners now enjoy the time they spend here.

We wanted the kitchen to be bright and welcoming, so we began with a pure white backdrop. Because the dining area is located within the kitchen, we created a grand gathering space around a gorgeous custom table. The large black sideboard provides additional storage and plays nicely off the black color pop in the overhead lighting. Lastly, we added a touch of vintage whimsy with small colorful bottles, found on site when renovating the yard, and a bit of greenery.
