WHAT IS OUR INTERIOR DESIGN PROCESS?

We understand that the design and renovation process can be overwhelming and exhausting for so many homeowners. It’s hard even, to know where to begin! That’s why we’re here! We can guide you through the process, stress-free, and make your design dreams a reality.

Getting to Know You

The first step is to get to know you, your family and/or team. We want to learn about the needs of your household, the spaces of interest, aesthetics you like, and of course your budget.

There are several methods we use to accomplish this, but first we’ll schedule an introductory call and then follow-up with a digital questionnaire.

Time to schedule the Initial Consult

Seeing the space and meeting you in person are the best ways to truly understand who you are and your design needs.

Preliminary Proposal and Contract

Once we have all the information needed to move forward we will create the preliminary proposal with inspirational images, scope of work and an itemized list of phases that details how the work will be accomplished. A formal contract is also issued in this phase for your review and approval.

Then the Fun Happens

Next we do site visits to measure and take photos. We’ll submit proposals with drawings, renderings, and product selections for you to review and approve. Edits and revisions will happen. This is a creative process and it will take some time to finalize your design.

We thoroughly and thoughtfully look for products from many different vendors and makers, ensuring that your project is personalized and on budget!

Management

At this point your design is fully established. If construction is part of the scope of work, Ana Claudia Design will work with and manage contractors to realize the design.

Orders for furnishings and all other products will be placed in this phase as well. We will track all orders and coordinate with vendors and their delivery teams.

Installation & Styling

As your project nears its end, we’ll do a full project walk-through and make notes of any items or issues that need to be addressed.

Once all orders are placed, we check-in and make sure everything arrived to your satisfaction. Then we place and install all furnishings where planned and add in pieces you may already own.

Once your space has been installed and styled, it’s time to celebrate! Our ultimate goal is to leave you with a space that excites you every time you walk through the door.
